Das klo:lektiv ist ein Zusammenschluss von Menschen, die sich zur Aufgabe gemacht haben, das Thema Toiletten stärker in öffentliche und wissenschaftliche Debatten einzubringen.
Immer wieder zeigt sich die Toilette als Brennglas gesellschaftlicher Machtverhältnisse und Ungerechtigkeiten in (halb-)öffentlichen Räumen.
Das klo:lektiv möchte persönliche Erfahrungen strukturell verorten und neue Möglichkeitsräume schaffen. Hierbei werden vor allem die Zugänglichkeit und die Nutzbarkeit für alle thematisiert.

The klo:lektiv (loo:collective) is a collective of people who have set themselves the task of bringing the topic of toilets more strongly into public and academic debates.
Time and time again, the toilet is a focal point of social power relations and injustices in (semi-)public spaces.
The klo:lektiv, therefore, aims to structurally locate personal experiences and create new spaces of possibility. The main focus here is on accessibility and usability for everyone.
